Silver Feather by Cassie Edwards

Diana is the step-daughter of a corrupt plantation owner, and Silver Feather, a Choctaw Indian, befriends her at a young age. When Silver Feather's tribe is killed, he manages to escape and settle in with another tribe, but at the cost of being separated from his dear friend Diana. Years later, Silver Feather investigates the disappearance of his dead ancestors' bones. He meets a stagecoach driver that is unknowingly transporting trunks full of the bones. The driver is none other than his Diana, dressed as a man and driving the coach to make ends meet. They reunite, and their feelings for each other turn into more than friendship. They go together to bust into the factory where they're horrified to discover the bones are being made into products like combs and buttons. The man in charge of the operation is Harry Braddock, whom Silver Feather vows to bring down. But Harry manages to kidnap Diana, and wants to keep her for himself.
