Dead Man by

After his parents die, William "Bill" Blake travels out to the western frontiers with a paper promising him a job as an accountant. When he arrives, he finds that his job has already been filled and, after a nasty confrontation with the owner of the business, goes out drinking. He ends up sleeping with an ex-prositute who's fiancé arrives and shoots her. Bill picks up her gun and shoots the man as the man is preparing to kill Bill. Bill runs and is blamed for both murders. It turns out that the fiancé was the son of the boss Bill had confronted, and the man sends out three well-known killers to find Bill and, well, kill him. Bill is helped by a strange Native American called Nobody, who mistakes Bill for the poet William Blake. Although Bill is dying, he makes it through the forests with Nobody, killing anyone in his path.
