Let That Be The Reason by Vickie Stringer

Pamela is a 26 year old single mother raising a small son and living with her boyfriend Chino in Columbus, Ohio. With Chino's help, Pamela has opened a hair salon which is doing quite well and supplementing the money Chino earns as a drug dealer. The bottom falls out when Chino dumps Pamela and marries another woman. Pamela ends up losing her successful salon when her depression causes her to slack on the job and not show up for work. With no job, no income and no child support given by Chino, Pamela is desperate to find income to support herself and her child. Out of sheer desperation, Pamela accepts an offer to become a call girl for an escort service. Although she is deeply ashamed of her choice, Pamela quickly realizes that being a call girl provides her with plenty of cash. Since her life has changed so radically, Pamela decides to transform herself into Carmen, a new woman with a new life. Carmen decides to open her own escort service so that she can maximize her income opportunities. Carmen's escort service is very successful and she is quickly turning herself into an entrepreneur. As Carmen starts wheeling and dealing with the big boys, she starts to realize that by extending her enterprise to include the drug game she will reach even greater economic heights. But when Chino catches wind of Carmen's success he manages to worm his way back into the picture so that he can team up with her.
