Book Review By Sandra Calhoune
Second Nature by Nora Roberts

Lee Radcliffe is an ambitious writer for Celebrity magazine, determined to track down and interview reclusive horror writer Hunter Brown for her magazine. Although Hunter is a best selling novelist, the public knows very little about the writer's life, appearance or family situation. Lee wants to be the one to get the Hunter Brown scoop. In order to get to Hunter on his own turf, Lee signs up for a writer's conference in Arizona at which Hunter is going to be featured. When Lee shows up at the hotel she mistakes Hunter Brown for a hotel worker. Hunter strings Lee along with the ruse, and it is only when Lee attends Hunter's seminar that she realizes that she was a victim of Hunter's practical joke. Lee manages to get Hunter to agree to dine with her and answer a few questions about his life and career. Hunter becomes wary of Lee when he discovers that she is really a writer for a gossip magazine, rather than a struggling novelist as she told him. Hunter says that if Lee goes on a camping trip with Hunter, he will sit down for an exclusive interview. As Lee and Hunter set off on their camping trip, Lee fights against the passionate feelings that are brewing between her and Hunter.
