Rules of The Game by Nora Roberts

Beautiful Brooke Gordon is a director who has worked her way up through the ranks at Thorton Productions. Brooke's latest assignment is to direct a commercial starring famous baseball player, Park Jones. When Brooke attends a baseball game to check out the man she'll be directing, Brooke is impressed by Park's sex appeal and his smooth moves on the baseball field. When Park sees Brooke in the stands, he is mesmerized by her beauty and makes a dinner date with her, unaware that she'll be directing his commercial. Brooke and Park engage in a cat and mouse game as Brooke's identity is revealed and Park makes a major play for Brooke. Before long, Brooke is falling head over heels in love with Park. But beneath Brooke's tough exterior is a wounded love buddy who has been damaged by the betrayals of the past.
