| Dindan is not good at any of the knightly acts. He can't fight or quest, and his favorite thing to do is play the lyre. His dad gets so upset, that he knights Dindan and sends him away. Dindan goes to Camelot, and on the way he meets Culloch, a very stupid man wanting to be a knight, and together they go to Camelot, Dindan making a name for himself as a minstrel on the way. When they get to Camelot, Sir Kai and Sir Bedeviere, two very well known knights, go with Culloch on a quest to do a great deed.
They meet King Mark, and Culloch wants to marry his daughters, so King Mark sends him on many stupid quests to win his favor. Sir Dindan meets Lady Brangienne and learns all about Sir Tristam and Lady Iseult. After a while of these nearly impossible quests, Sir Dindan leaves the group and goes off to be a minstrel someplace else. Along the way he does many kind deeds, like freeing a wife and her kids from her cruel husband. He meets Lady Iseult, who is in disguise, and tells her where Lady Brangienne is. Afterwards, he realizes that she wants to kill her. He feels very bad and knows he has to do something to protect Brangienne, but he doesn't know what, and if he doesn‘t do anything, she will be killed. | ||
