Book Review By Mai Tsuji
The Challenger by Terri Farley

Linc Slocum, the wealthy rancher, takes extreme meaasures to protect himself and his horses from a wildcat mother and her cub. Only, no one has been hurt, and the cub is too young to start attacking large animals or people. Sam is shocked and angry at Slocum's purposes.
While trying to save the wildcats, she's worried about a wild black stallion without a herd. Without the safety of other horses, the black could be in danger. When she encounters the wildcat cub, she knows she has a safe way of keeping the cat out of trouble.
