The King of Torts by John Grisham

Clay Carter, a public defender, does not like his job. He comes in every day and defends poor people that everyone knows are guilty. He takes a case of a young man charged with murder. It was just a random street killing. When he starts digging, he finds out that the reason the young man killed the guy could have been because of a medication. He then gets in the middle of a difficult case against one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world. The case could make him rich. He could become the king of torts. All he has to do is beat the competitors and the pharmaceutical company. Can he do it?
