Book Review By Lorna J. Miller
Private Eyes by Jonathan Kellerman

A teen goes to her old child psychologist for help with her hermit mother. However, mom goes missing after "driving" herself out of the home that she never lft for years. What motivated her? The psychologist, Delaware, is going to find out. Who would want her...and did they want her dead, or all to themselves? Her husband is a mess, as is the daughter. She was pelted with acid to the face, years before and now they wonder if it was again the same predator, who was only recently released from prison. More go missing, more than we knew and the plot thickens. Yet, still a very slow read for Kellerman and the team of Delaware and Sturgis. Not loaded with action and almost a bit too hard too swallow by the end. He still pulls it off, it's believable, just nt one of his best.
