Book Review By Hannah Warnaar
Man Hunt by Janet Evanovich

Alexandra is sick of her high up position working as an executive for a large company. The job has a big paycheck - but even bigger overtime hours and responsibilities. Worst of all, she's not getting any younger... So she trades her pad in New Jersey for a house and hardware store in rural Alaska. Packing her bags and her dog into her cute little sportscar, she sets off for her new home - only to find that what she had hoped would be a nice house and well-run store are a cabin without a toilet and a dingy bait and fishtackle shop.

Luckily her only neighbour for 3 miles, the handsome Michael Casey, has a great house: A modern kitchen, clean toilet, hot shower - and nice, warm (understatement) bed. As Michael and Alex try to get her house and store up and running, they start to fall in love. Casey feels oddly protective of Alex - he feels responsible for the cute city girl who knows next to nothing about the Alaska. But when his feelings start to get slightly too involved, he backs off. Alex is startled. Could this have anything to do with Casey's sporadic and secretive visits to Miami?
