Book Review By Emma
All American Girl by Meg Cabot

Samantha is a tenth-grader in Washington, D.C. She is forced by her mother to attend drawing lessons, but she absolutely hates them. When it is time for her second lesson, she skips it and hangs out in the cd store next door to the art studio. As she is preparing to leave, she notices a freaky guy with a gun, who is attempting to assasinate the president. The president walks to the door, the creep raises his gun and... Sam jumps him.
When Samantha becomes a national hero, she meets the president's son, who is very cute but also geeky. He falls in love with her, and her awful older sister encourages her to go out with him, but she loves her sister's boyfriend, not the president's son!
