Lucy is a teenage girl who goes to high school, but she is very big for her age. Her dad is an alcholic and does not treat her very well. Lucy finds a dog, and starts to take care of her, but when the dog dies, Lucy has had enough of her life. She decideds to run away and pretend to be an adult. Her plans messup and she find herself in a bar, the place that she is most used to being in because of her father. She ends up winning a drinking contest and she is taken in by a group of crabbers. Because of her size, and because they think that she is an adult, the ask her to work on their boat. She agrees. At first it is hard, but she starts to get used to it and becomes like family to the people on the boat. Then, her old friends brother sees her and tells one of the members of the crew who is angry at her that lucy is underage. She knows that if the rest of the crew find out, they will be very angry and send her home, but what can she do to stop him? | ||
