Book Review By Tanya
My Hero by Marianna Jameson

Miranda Lane is a well known romance writer who is known for her sensitive heroes. Her editor wants something new from her as her heroes are starting to become bland pushovers. The editor wants Miranda's latest book rewritten, starring a sexy alpha male cop. Miranda is stunned and protests, but eventually gives in and decides to take up a friend on an offer to set up a meeting with a hard hitting detective. Detective Chas Casey is the perfect role model for her book, and the polar opposite from all of her other heroes.

Chas is known as commitment phobic but he quickly is drawn to the wise cracking Miranda and her tough attitude. Miranda realizes that she is falling in love with Chas but isn't going to be used as a doormat and therefore when he doesn't want to commit she leaves and goes home to finish her book, hoping that Chas will pursue her but not keeping her hopes up.
