| Lady Irisa Langley is the illegitimate daughter of an Earl and his wife. But, this illegitimate birth is a secret from the Ton and those who pursue her as a wife. She has managed to blackmail her parents with this fact so that she can choose who she wants to be married to. Using this information she has turned down a number of suitors.
