Book Review By Ashley Ray
Naked in Death by J.D. Robb

Lieutenant Eve Dallas, a ten year veteran homicide detective for New York Police. Her current assignment, Sharan DeBlass's murder. Money and politics come into focus when the reports of her being a professional comapanion and of her family's bluecollar background with a lot of old money and power. And adding to the plot is Sharon being 1 of 6. When the evidence points to Roarke, an Irish Billionaire things being to heat up between them. Torn from him being a suspect and a possible lover.
Eve is wound up between professional duty and lust, murder 2 of 6 is hit. Another professional companion, everything about this one is different, her background is normal, a girl moved from a small city to New York and tries to make something of herself. She lives in a small mediocre apartment without security. And the same scenario as the first, the murder weapon was a gun. In the near future weapons become banned and are only available to private collectors.
The race through the maze that the killer is putting Eve through is putting her mind and heart to the test. With the political pressure on her and her heart falling hard, and her unwillingness to give up.
