| National Underwater and Marine Agency projects director Dirk Pitt encounters an archeological survey team in trouble on the mountains of Peru. There he learns about an archeological traffic network in the Andes and some long lost Inca treasure as well. he must rescue the archeological team, who has fallen on the criminals hands along with long time friend Al Giordino.
