Just Curious by Jude Deveraux

Beautiful widow Karen Lawrence doesn't put much trust on men particularly her boss MacAllister Taggert. She believes that MacAllister is a playboy and heartbreaker who flits from one woman to another as fast as one changes clothes. However, Kate has a secret yearning to have a child before her biological clock expires. And she finds no other worthy sperm donor candidate with excellent physical, mental and health qualities than her boss. When she has been discovered snooping in her boss's office one evening, she suddenly becomes the object of attraction from MacAllister. Expecting to get fired, she is surprised to be propositioned to pose as a MacAllister's fiancée and to escort him to his cousin's wedding and as a return she can ask for anything she wants. Karen agrees and tells him outright that she wants him to be the sperm donor for her baby. MacAllister consents and sweeps Karen to Maine where the wedding takes place. Used to being alone, she becomes enchanted with MacAllister's boisterous and big family. As she spends time more with him and his family, she can't help but fall for MacAllister. Can Karen protects herself from what she perceives as a big heartbreak or can she trust MacAllister her heart?
MacAllister Taggert is tired from being adored by women who only wants him for his money. When he meets Karen, he is surprised that she seems to have a low opinion of him. He is challenged and intrigued and could be possibly and finally…in love? As he shows her off to his family, he slowly believes that Karen is the right woman for him. Can he changes Karen's preconception of him and show her that he is sincere?
