A research doctor dies of a mysterious disease inAfrica, he is followed by hundreds of African people in the area dying.A few weeks later there is an outbreak of the disease in the United States.This had to be dealt by CDC employee Marisa Blumenthal who joined only a few weeks ago.She rushes to control many outbreaks in many cities in U.S.A one after the other,she begins to suspect a conspiracy as pieces of the puzzle fall into place.
         With litle support she sets off on her own to clarify her doubts.Travelling from city to city gathering information and filling in the pieces she is faced with lifethreatening situations.
          Meanwhile many more cases are reported in different cities. The index victims are always doctors and then spread to their close contacts.The CDC rushes to the hospitals to control the spread and quarantines them, successfully evading an epidemic.
