Keeley Murdock's wedding and the social event of the season in the small town of Madison, Georgia is an anticipated event! It ALMOST takes place. The guests of the rehearsal dinner have gathered at the the country club and there they wait for the missing groom. He was soon located by the bride herself as he was sowing some wild oats with the maid of honor in the boardroom.

Keeley calls off the wedding and concentrates on her interior design business as the town gossips about both her and her fiance A.J. Jernigans actions and re-actions. A.J.'s family is influencial in the small town of Madison and financial pressure is brought to Keeley. She could have lost the shop but for a new resident.

Will Mahoney buys a derelict antebellum mansion and the failing bra factory that once gave many in the small town their incomes. Will hires Keeley and her interior design company to restore the once beautiful old manse and saves her from the financial cluthes of her cheating ex's family.

Keeley loses herself in restoring the mansion and filling it with period pieces that she hand selects herself. She falls in love with the house and finds herself attracted to the man who has hired her to restore it for the woman he believes he loves.

Keeley also uncovers and solves a mystery that has haunted her and her father for 25 years. Her mothers disappearance.
