A Wolf In The Desert by B.J. James

Veterinarian Patience O'Hara picked a fine place to have car trouble. Stranded in a desolate desert, the first people to come upon her definitely aren't friendly. The biker gang known as The Desert Wolves can't decide what to ravage first, the disabled Corvette or Patience herself. Fighting like a wildcat, only one member of the gang can subdue her, a stoic man known only as Indian. He brutally claims Patience as his woman, and his alone.
Matthew Winter Sky has been traveling with this savage gang for months, infiltrating their ranks to learn about their criminal activities. Matthew is a member of the covert government agency The Black Watch, he's an apache. Claiming Patience was the only way to keep her from being brutally abused at the hands of the Wolves. He desperately wishes he could take her out of the desert, but he can neither trust Patience with his real identity or show her much concern without blowing his cover, and more lives hinge on Matthew's mission than just Patience's.
Patience begins to wonder why the Indian doesn't rape her. He tolerates her incessant questions and escape attempts, and protects her from the Wolves. One day, he even manages to arrange a hike for the two of them to a remote canyon oasis. In the romantic setting, they surrender to their passions and make love. He tells her his real name, but no more.
When they rejoin the Wolves, a current of suspicion has begun to form against the two. Patience realizes and Matthew confirms that the Desert Wolves are part of a white slavery ring. Patience knows Matthew must be undercover, but for her safety, he remains silent to her questions.
Now Patience is more determined than ever to escape the Wolves, for her continued presence is hampering Matthews' mission and endangering the life of the man she realizes she's in love with. The odds are heavily against her making it across the desert, and the Wolves penalty for escape is death!
