Darkness Within by Steven A. Pajak

A young boy's brutal murder is witnessed in a vision by Susan Moore. Riddled with guilt for not having saved the boy, she soon feels her life spiraling out of control.

In a small Texas town, Sheriff Steven Ames is desperate to catch a murder before tragedy strikes again.

Together, Ames and Moore hope to stop the killer. But Susan must come to grips with the limitations of her psychic abilities while Ames has to battle his own feelings of inadequacy and deal with a town that no longer has faith in his abilities as a peace officer.

As they begin to track the killer, they are soon faced with their greatest fears . . . as they discover that they have become the hunted.
