Red Leaves by Paullina Simons

I really enjoyed this book and have read it several times. It is a very intelligent and suspensful mystery about a young college student who is found murdered by a police officer that she knew. She is estranged from her family, and stranger still, her so-called best friends are being very uncooperative with the police investigation. Finally, the main detective has to take matters into his own hands when he discovers the real killer and nobody believes him...
