Ali Daniels is one of the top barrel-racers in the rodeo circuit. She knows this is her last year to compete...because she's got Cystic Fibrosis and its getting worse all the time. So far she's been able to keep it a secret but she's not sure how much longer she can keep up the pretense. Both are normally loners that avoid others but without meaning to...they become friends. As time goes by, Cody learns of Ali's illness. They continue to fall in love and dream of having a future together. But the day comes when everyone realizes that Ali needs a lung transplant - if she can survive the operation. Fortunately, Cody is a perfect match.
