Book Review By Jess
Uneasy Alliance by Jayne Ann Krentz

Torr Latimer is intrigued by Abby Lyndon the first time he sees her in their flower arranging class. She is cheery and undisciplined, pretty much the complete opposite of Torr. Torr finally decides that he must make her his, and sets out to do so.
Abby is wary of Torr due to a previous unhappy relationship she had with a domineering man. Torr is intense and posessive, everything that Abby avoids in men. But Torr is determined to change her mind about him and have a relationship with her.
When someone begins blackmailing Abby about an innocent weekend spent with her cousin's husband, her first instinct is to flee. When Torr learns of her situation, he insists on taking her away to his cabin in hopes of drawing out the blackmailer. He also hopes to further his relationship with Abby. They grow closer until the blackmailer reappears, revealing some disturbing information about the death of Torr's wife three years ago. Abby's doubts about Torr resurface, complicating both their lives and their search for the blackmailer. Will they be able to work out their relationship and figure out who's behind the blackmail before he does even more damage?
