Book Review By Esther Punselie
Sky Trillium by Julian May

A long time ago, the land of the three moons was almost ruined by a magical war. Now it seems to have found it's balance again. But then an even bigger evil arrives. There are earthquakes, strange weather and volcano eruptions.

Only the strong talisman made up out of the three talismans of the three triplet princesses can save the world now. But Anigel, the queen, has lost her talisman. She was forced it to the bad mage Orogastus in the war. Her sister kadya's talisman, the thee eyed sword, doesn't work anymore.

They don't know that Anigel's son now has her talisman. And they don't know that Orogastus isn't dead. He comes to their world and kidnaps all leaders.

When Kadya goes to explore, she is captivated with the other leaders. Anigel is captured too, and so is Tollivar, her son.

They find out that the star people are trying to take over the planet. They manage to escape and plan to interrupt the plans of the star people. When Orogastus tells Tollivar that his mother will stay alive if he gives him the talisman, he sneaks away into the city where Orogastus is to give it to him.

Meanwhile, the other sister, Haramis, is held captive by the Star mage in one of three hollow moons. She manages to escape just before the whole town where her sister's are ends up under a stream of mud.

Orogastus convinces them that he too wants to save the world and they put together the talismans.
