We start with Camilla's perspective, from when Michela is a baby to when she is seven years old. Nearly everything from this point on is Michela's perspective, starting when she is taken in not by seven little men, but a full-out family. For the next several years, she finally receives a semi-normal childhood with her foster family. When Michela is 21, she already a captain in the dwarf army. After earning the reputation as a competent warrior and becoming a war hero, she finally decides it is time to take back her kingdom from Camilla, who has become a cruel tyrant.
