| Ellie Brans-Hill is an unassuming paid lady companion. Jack despite his anger of being tricked by Ellie/Aurora, felt responsible and contrite after discovering that Ellie couldn't find a job now that her reputation was ruined. With Ellie's brother in trouble and a suspect of murdering a French actress, Jack charged to Ellie's rescue. He married Ellie to protect her and her brother. But during their time together, Jack felt differently for Ellie and began to fall in love with her. Ellie knew that Jack didn't believe in love but she still fell in love with him. When an attempt to Ellie's brother materialized, Jack was afraid that Ellie might be in danger too.
