Rand Al'Thor is a former farmer, and is now fateful "savior", known as the Dragon Reborn. Rand battles a evil being known as the Dark One, or Shait'an, and is faced with the immense task of uniting the warring noble factions under his control.
Along with three loyal friends, Mat, Loial, and Perrin he faces female mages, assasins, and betrayals at every corner.
