The Runaway Heiress by Brenda Hiatt

Dina Moore thought she would marry her fiancé at Gretna Green and gain her inheritance through that marriage. But at the very last minute, she found out that her fiancé was in league with her brother, who wanted her inheritance to settle his gambling debts. Unfortunately, she needed to wed before her twenty-fith birthday or her inheritance went to her brother for her wellbeing. Her birthday was in a few days.

Desperate and out of ideas, Dina went to Gretna Green on her own to think of a plan. At the Gretna Hall Hotel, she learned of a woman who was being duped by a fortune hunter. She warned her off and propositioned the man herself thinking that if she allowed him a sum of her inheritance through their marriage, he would leave her be. Unfortunately, his former fiancé's brother Grant Turpin, had come to his sisters rescue and scared the man off.

Now even more desperate then before, Dina had just about given up all hope in the matter when the handsome man offered her anything he could give as payment for saving his sister.

He just didn't expect to marry her. Honorably, he could not refuse.

Now as they earn to live together, they have another problem that neither realized before. Dina's brother was still a fortune hunter.
