When Brooke Chamberlain arrives at the Rolling Cascade Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, she comes face to face with her former lover, Ian Westmoreland. Four years ago Brooke and Ian were torn apart when Brooke's position as an FBI investigator came between the couple. Ian still hasn't forgiven Brooke from withholding information regarding an undercover investigation she was working on involving his close friend, Boris Knowles. Ian felt that had he known about Boris' criminal dealings, he would have been able to help his friend, who committed suicide in the aftermath of the investigation. Now, four years later, Brooke has arrived at the casino/resort Ian owns, presumably for some rest and relaxation. Unbeknownst to Ian, Brooke is working undercover trying to prevent Ian's casino from being ripped off from a gang of thieves called the Waterloo gang. Brooke feels that she owes Ian her protection after the events of the past. Furthermore, she can't deny to herself any longer that she is still head over heels in love with Ian. Although Ian tries to stay away from Brooke, he still feels the same overpowering attraction to her as he did in the past. Wanting closure between him and Brooke, Ian sets about to wage a war of seduction, with the goal being to get Brooke into his bed. Brooke can't resist Ian's attempts at seduction and the couple ends up embroiled in a sizzling affair. As deep feelings from the past rise to the surface, Brooke must face a tough decision regarding her undercover investigation at the casino. If she withholds the truth once again from Ian she may lose the man she loves. | ||
