Book Review By Sandra Calhoune
I'm In No Mood For Love by Rachel Gibson

When Clare Wingate wakes up the morning after her best friend Lucy's wedding wearing nothing but a pink thong and a raging hangover, she realizes that she's been a very naughty girl. Clare, reeling from catching her fiance Lonny in a sexual act with the repairman, drank way too much at the reception and comes face to face with Sebatian Vaughn, her drunken fling and her childhood crush. Unbeknownst to Clare, Sebastian was a perfect gentleman with her. Sebastian is a successful journalist who is suffering from burnout due to all his globe hopping. What Seb wants most is to get some rest and relaxation and to try to reconnect with his father, who is caretaker for Clare's wealthy family. Seb is still reeling from the death of his mother, to whom he was extremely close. Although Seb loves his father, he wasn't really close to him during his formative years due to his parents' divorce. Now, Seb has decided to take a break and hang out in in Boise, Idaho for a while. Meanwhile, Clare is freaking out over her night with Seb. She takes a pregnancy test and an HIV test, which come out negative. When Clare informs Seb he tells her that they never had sex. Although angry at Seb for his deception, Clare can't deny to herself that she is dangerously attracted to Sebastian. Since he's sticking around Boise for awhile, Clare can't resist the idea of an affair with the sexy journalist. Seb has no problem with having an affair with Clare, but he is a strictly no-committment kind of guy. As Seb and Clare embark on a passionate affair Clare finds herself falling madly in love with Seb. But Seb continues to make it clear that he has no interest in love. With her heart in jeopardy, Clare ends her relationship with Seb, knowing that he'll never love her. But as Seb faces losing Clare, he is forced to come to terms with the secrets of his own heart.
