A Perfect Kiss by Anne Gracie

    Grace Merridew is one of the famous Merridew diamonds, the last of four sisters and the only one that is not married. She fears that she will never find her love match like her sisters, so she decides to travel to Egypt to pursue her passions, but before she does that, she agrees to help her best friend, Melly, who has bethrothed to a man who she has no desire to marry. Grace makes herself plain and poses as Melly's companion so she can help her find a way out of the engagement.
    Dominic Wolfe does not want to go through with the marriage, either, but he must if he wishes to inherit the family castle. He vows that if Melly marries him, it will be in name only. Dominic and his mother were mistreated by his father when he was growing up, so he desperately wants the family inheritance, so he can destroy in revenge for his mother's pain.
    When Grace and Dominic meet, sparks fly, and despite Grace's appearance, Dominic takes her in a passionte embrace. Grace feels guilty for the feeling that she begins to develop for Dominic, since it is her best friend that is engaged to him, although unwillingly. As Dominic begins to restore the family castle, he begins to realize that his Mother loved the castle and the people who lived there. Grace, who believed that happiness would not be in her future, falls in love with Dominic.
   Together, they work to bring glory back to the lands and the tenents, and with the help of her family, the find a solution for everyone. As Grace and Dominic vow to marry despite the conquences, Melly finds someone to love a defies her father, letting all four of them find true love, happiness and marriage eternally.
