Sebastian Steele is a business executive at Steele Corporation, a company that is run with his three brothers, Morgan, Chance and Donovan. When Sebastian is informed by the company doctor that his blood pressure is dangerously high, he is advised to take some time off for some rest and relaxation. When Sebastian learns that his mentor, Jim Mason has died of cancer and has left Sebastian a portion of his company in his will, Sebastian decides to head to Newton Grove, Tennessee. Jim has left Mason Builders under the control of his oldest daughter Jocelyn who has inherited half of the company. He has left his youngest daughter Leah one fourth of the company and Sebastian the remaining fourth. Jocelyn is floored by the fact that Sebastian has inherited by of her familys' business. First of all, Sebastian is a stranger to her and she is disappointed that her father didn't leave a portion of the business to his faithful employee Reese Singleton. Five years ago Reese was madly in love with Jocelyn's sister Leah. After proposing marriage and planning a life with Leah, Reese was devastated when Leah up and left town without a word of explanation. Now, Leah is back in town to settle her father's affairs and arrange for her sister to buy out her portion of the company. As Jocelyn and Sebastian's work shoulder to shoulder on business matters, major romantic sparks fly. Jocelyn is furious at Sebastian for meddling in her company's affairs and she eyes him a corporate shark who wants to devour Mason Builders. In truth, Sebastian is indebted to Jim Mason for rescuing him from his reckless youth by providing a mentoring presence during his late teen years. Although Sebastian tries to reassure Jocelyn about his presence in Newton Grove, Jocelyn still mistrusts him. As Joycelyn and Sebastian come closer together and share a sizzling night of passion, Jocelyn is forced to reassess her opinion about Sebastian and learn to open up her heart.
