Celebrity In Death by J.D. Robb

Channel 75 reporter and Eve's friend, Nadine's popular book on the Icove case has been made into a movie and all the main characters featured in the book have been invited to a party to celebrate the occasion.

As luck would have it, the actress who plays Peabody ends up dead during the party and Eve is pulled into investigating the case.

Eve and Peabody soon find out that their victim was not at all well-liked in the film industry and had made quite a lot of enemies, all of who would have liked to see her dead.

The actor and actress who portray McNab and Eve on screen have a secret affair going on that only the victim knows about apparently. The woman who plays Dr. Mira has a secret regarding one of her god-children which the victim had threatened to expose and so it goes on.

When a private investigator hired by the victim before her death is murdered, Eve and her team realize that they have a killer who has killed before and will not hesitate to do it again.
