This a story of a man's search for his father's killer.

Nicholas Neumann goes to Zurich to take up a job as a trainee at a bank where his father used to work. His main intention is to access old records for clues to his father's death and find out who the murderer was.

He starts work among much competition and is soon promoted to become one of the core members of his Chairman's group. This is because he very cleverly helps the bank avert a major crisis. But in this privileged environment he soon realizes that appearances are deceptive. His affair with an ambitious older colleague gives him access to the documents that he requires to answer all his questions. But the answers are shocking and treachery shadows him. He decides to take things into his own hand and mete out appropriate justice.
