Book Review By Sharon Berry
Mindbend by Robin Cook

Doctors are sent on lecture cruise by a big drug production company and are (and I am NOT kidding here...) Given drugs by the men who see them to their cabins on the ship (whatever these bell-hops at sea are called) what doctor would take a so-called "vitamin" from a bellhop??? The food on the cruise is also drugged and then after they are good and drugged they are given subliminal suggestions and secret BRAIN surgery!!!! Of course our hero never gets brainwashed! He buys himself a helper with cigarettes!!!!!
This was the most horrible waste of my time in a very long time... I bought this book at a used book store and I paid too much even there!!!! In case you can't tell, I HATED THIS BOOK! It was unbelievably tedious!
