Book Review By Eric Garbe
A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny

In 19th century London a group of magically-gifted people, along with their animal familiars, see a possible gate for the Elder Gods to re-enter this world. Some seek to open the gate while others seek to close it. Snuff, the familiar of the urbane murderer Jack, observes the proceedings and tries to see how the final events will occur.
