Book Review By Liss
K-Pax by Gene Brewer

Gene Brewer is a psychiatrist at Manhattan Psychiatric Institute who has experience with delusionals. A patient is then picked up and transferred to him. This patient--who calls himself "prot"--claims to be an alien from the planet K-PAX. Dr. Brewer spends time trying to understand the reasons behind "prot's" delusion and tries to break through his deluded state--only to find the truth behind his character, and to discover truth about himself in the process.
