Book Review By Libby
Sara Dane by Catherine Gaskin

Sara Dane has been convicted, sentenced and transported to Australia for a childhood prank. She meets Andrew, a ship's officer and eventually they fall in love. The story tells of their setting up home in a harsh environment, developing successful businesses and coping with the stigma of Sara's prior conviction. An excellent, classic read by a great storyteller.
