The book is fictional and it is about an interracial couple. They
may try to put two and two together, but I add parts into the story to try to throw the reader off. The main characters name is Sharon Ann White who is actually black and the other character is Pete Black who is actually white. I wrote the story this way to prevent the reader from prejudging as to whether or not Sarah and Pete belong together. Only at the end of the story do I reveal who they really are, but to bring out did it really matter, when it comes to love there should be no boundaries. Why the town resist? Is because it is an old fashioned town in the country that has no blacks and don't want any around. Sarah's mission is to prove that a black woman is capable ! of doing anything. One of the secrets that Sarah uncovers is that the white female manager of the bank that she was sent to work with is secretly in love with a black man herself and has been hiding him from the town. And that the white female co-worker that has been making Sarah's stay unbearable is actually Pete's ex-girlfriend and her little girl is his. | ||
