Probably best read as the second in the classic Narnia series, Caspian, the young prince, calls on the heroes of old - as High King Peter, King Edmund, and queens Lucy and Susan are to him. Narnia is once more held by a cruel dictator, the King Miraz. He would like to kill Caspian, but he escapes and calls on the old powers and old creatures of Narnia to come out of hiding and fight for freedom.
He must succeed in calling the old kings and queens from Earth back into Narnia - but once they are there, how can they find who called them? How can they succeed against the superior forces of Miraz? This book is the simplest of the Narnia series, but still entertaining. | ||
