Book Review By Ann Herrick
An Adorable Couple by Ann Herrick

When Laurel is made editor-in-chief of her high school yearbook, she has trouble handling her new authority. She finds it especially difficult to work with Matt, a new boy at school, when she finds herself attracted to him, and they have a disagreement over an aspect of the yearbook. Laurel wants to remove the "Adorable Couple" category of the yearbook, for fear she'll be in it as her parents were twenty-five years earlier, and like them (she thinks) forever trying to live up to the label. Laurel worries about whether she's doing what's best for the yearbook, or what's best for her.

Meanwhile, at home, Laurel's parents are driving her crazy with their frantic efforts to try to look young for their twenty-fifth high school reunion, and Laurel's kid sister can't contain her curiosity about Laurel's love life.
