Lucy Stone's Christmas cookie exchange goes awry when one of the participants is found murdered the following morning. Lucy sets out to uncover what happened to the young woman she had just met at her exchange.   The book focuses on investigating her ex-lover and his wife. Only during the final chapters does the true villian and his motives emerge.
