Book Review By seeker of novel
Shoshone Woman by Jean M. Auel

The main character is Morningstara dwarf Shoshone woman flintknapper who travels pursuing her craft throughout her life. It is the story of her struggle and survival and eventual death, possibly in southern Alberta. I believe she had a child whom she trained in the craft of making stone tools (flintknapping.)
