Night of the Wolf by Alice Borchardt

Night of the Wolf is about a wolf who turns into a man, named Maeniel because of his desire for women. As a human, Maeniel knows nothing but his passion for women. However, Dryas, an "amazon woman" of sorts is summoned to find him and capture him. He soon learns to fight and falls in love with Dryas. In a clash of Roman rule, Fulvia, summoned by Julius Caesar, kidnaps Dryas and forces her to fight in a Coliseum. Maeniel is determined to find Dryas and defeat Caesar to end his evil rule.
