The main character, Michael Alig, has murdered his roomate/friend/drug dealer and is now serving time in prison. This is the story of how that murder came to be. It is written by James St. James, a mutual friend of both the killer and the victim. He tells the story of how Michael Alig came to become a "Club Kid" as well as a successful party promoter in New York in the late 1980's thru the 1990's. He begans a downward spiral in a world of drugs and perversions, eventually killing his roomate in a drug-crazed stupor, chopping up the body and tossing it in the river. | ||
