Book Review By Ann
Earth Song by Catherine Coulter

The main female character overhears who she thinks is her father saying that he'll marry her off to some disgusting old guy, so she jumps into a wool wagon and heads out thinking she'll go to her cousin (who turns out to be evil). Her father's wool is stolen by a rogue (the main male character) who keeps her as a hostage, though he never ends up ransoming her. The cousin kidnaps the female character and the female character escapes. She weds the main male character, then finds out she's the illegitimate daughter of the King of England.
