This book involves the main character Rowena Grant, an ex-cop with ten years experience, who decides to start her own private investigations business with another female associate. Her old boss at the department comes to her for help with a case involving a maniacal killer who is systematically killing female officers with poison filled darts while they are on duty. As the killings progress from poison darts to shootings to brutal stabbings, Rowena uses her police skills and contacts to hunt for clues and witnesses so she can try to reveal the identity of the killer. Things start to get more interesting when she reveals clues eluding to the fact that the killer might indeed be another officer, or even better, an extremely high ranking official inside of the police force. | ||
