Book Review By Daniela Lo Presti
The Kagonesti by Douglas Niles

The Kagonesti tells the story of the creation of the society of wild elves. Kagnos breaks away from "house elves" and leads his people to live in the wild. The novel tells of his coming of age as a leader and the story of future leaders of his tribe. Each of the new leaders comes of ages and fights dragons and wizards to continue the thriving of their race. They are nearly exterminated at the end of the novel but they survive to rebuild their society again. A great history fantasy novel of a fantasy race of wild outcasts.
