Horacio Oliveira, a Latin-american inmigrant in Paris, is abandoned by his partner, la Maga, after an accident involving the death of her child. A story is made of play on words and stream of consciousness which tries to convey the desperate feelings of Oliveira as he goes traveling through France, Uruguay and Argentina looking for his lost love.
